MAC Wash & Dry Collection Haul

Hi guys, hope your enjoying the long weekend! today's post is all about a fab new collection from MAC Cosmetics ; I personally find a new MAC collection irresistible at the best of times and when that new collection has some fabulous Limited Edition Packaging even more so! 

I first started hearing whispers of MAC's latest Wash & Dry collection at the start of 2015 and have been eagerly awaiting the chance to get my hands on some of the beautiful products!

The day I spotted an email in my inbox from MAC announcing its release I was online hauling! I knew I wasn't heading to the city any time real soon so I wouldn't be able to see and swatch the collection in person without missing out on the products I definitely wanted to purchase so I threw caution to the wind and bought some fail safe options that same day! I missed my chance at the gorgeous highlight in the collection as it was sold out by the time I got to the site in my lunch hour! 

Let's talk about this gorgeous packaging first up! A beautiful chrome finish with standout cool to warm ombré colours! Signifying the "Wash & Dry" aspect and sticking with the laundromat theme. This is a Summer release for the U.S. so the wet to dry / cool to hot illustration works in so many ways! *Swooon!*

For me this beautiful packaging conjures up images of sun bathed days at the beach and long lazy days by the pool even for us Aussies experiencing winter at the moment this collection and its limited edition packaging is a reminder of all those delightful summer feelings and sentiments.

I was super impressed with the fact that my parcel of goodies arrived within 2 days of ordering! I have never ordered online before choosing instead to wait until a trip to the city to check out any new collections in person, so I am so happy that this is a quick and easy option.

Originally I had my eye on this gorgeous Wash & Dry Highlight Powder in 'Freshen Up' but by the time I was ready to purchase it had already sold out! 

Limited edition packing + MAC Lipstick is my idea of heaven and with that my first pick for my relatively small MAC online haul was a nude lipstick from this collection I chose "creme D' nude" a pale pink based nude so I could make sure this product was well used and loved within my makeup collection and I knew it could easily be incorporated into my makeup of the day for fun or work! 

Next up I checked out the blush.. I chose 'Hipness' a beautiful peachy / salmon pink MAC powder blush, mega pigmentation and that much loved premium MAC Cosmetics finish.

I was so excited to see included in my parcel from MAC a sample size of their new 'MAC False Lashes Mascara' and I was so keen to try it out!

I have been loving wearing all my new MAC goodies and below is my FOTD / MOTD using all MAC including my products from the new wash and dry collection.
