Following on from my most recent blogpost
all about my fab weekend in Brisbane for the first Pro Makeup &
Beauty Show, I wanted to share with you a quick haul post of all my purchases from the event and
some shopping in the city!
This post has been a long time in the making and I apologise for my slackness I have been so busy moving and organising work / trips etc.
If you know me or follow me on social media
(say Hi! on Instagram or Twitter) you will know, its no secret that I LOVE to
shop! Whenever I am in Brisbane for an event or work, I love to capitalize and
visit my favorite Westfields Shopping Centre in Chermside and all my favourite inner city
stores (hello MAC Pro store!).
Kicking things off at Westfield Chermside, I was excited to check out the sales at some of my favourite stores including City Chic, Lovisa and Typo. As my trip coincided with half yearly sale time at many stores, I was able to pick up some great bargains.
At Typo I scored this fantastic new blog/work stationary which not only sports my FAVE colours but also says it all in the matching captions: Boys, Heels, Blogs, Let's get back to the basics!
Did anyone else notice the AMAZING sale City Chic was having during June/July? Well I did - in a big way! Pouncing on some gorgeous bargains I made the decision to buy some beautiful pieces from this glamorous plus size brand for some upcoming events.
(If fashion is your thing, check back regularly for further #LustyPlus & #OOTD posts!)
Now on to the makeup! ;)
After a long Westfield shopping session, I made a special trip into the MAC Pro store in the Valley. The store has just relocated here and is beautifully laid out in a modern and fresh theme.

Spending quite some time soaking up the awesome feel of the new store, I finally made up my mind on what lovely products to buy and ended up walking away with a few purchases that I have been trialling lately, I am hoping to have a MAC Haul post up on the blog soon!
Finally on the shopping scorecard, attending the Pro
Makeup & Beauty Show provided a fabulous opportunity to take advantage of
some serious discounts. I have been saving my pennies and planning some big purchases and I was not disappointed with what I ended up purchasing!

OPI -
It was fantastic to see OPI taking pride of place on the show room floor
at Pro Makeup & Beauty Show! I have been a fan of this luxury polish brand
ever since I started getting into nail polish and beauty products. There was a
huge variety of collections and shades available on the day all for the amazing
price of only $10 each!
The Designer Series (DS) Collection has been around for a while and has certainly been on my wish list for EVER! I carefully
selected 3 pretty little bottles of polish from this collection :
From left : DS Radiance, DS Reserve, DS Classic. |
I have long admired this collection and I
could not resist the opportunity to finally purchase some of these beautiful
polishes for only $10 each!
DS – Reserve – Pink
I chose Reserve to add to my collection as
it is a beautiful midtone light pink, its not too flashy, beautiful & feminine.
DS – Classic – Gold
Golden Toned Holographic polish with
Copper, red, blue & green reflective
sparkles dancing in the bottle like liquid magic. At first I was ver intimidated by this colour but now I have had a chance to get to know it I think it may become a new fave!
DS -
Radiance – Silver
My life long search for the perfect silver polish is over! this beautiful solid silver is like a dream, so pleased to now have it in my collection.
INGLOT
INGLOT was a big ticket exhibitor at The Pro Makeup & Beauty Show and I was so excited to finally have an opportunity to create an eyeshadow palette using the Inglot Freedom System! with a Discount!
I chose to get a 5 shadow palette and tried to pick some shades I could get some really wearable every day looks out of as my first purchase from this amazing brand, however I simply could not resist purchasing for the palette 488 and its double sparkle finish! *please pinch me* haha
I chose shades (from left - right) 327 Matte Finish, 357 Matte Finish, 395 Pearl Finish, 361 Matte Finish, 488 Double Sparkle finish.
Im really looking forward to creating some beautiful eye makeup looks with this gorgeous palette and I am already super impressed with the feel, finish and pigmentation of all the shades I have chosen! I am already planning my blush palette ;)
Thank you so much for reading! I would love to hear about your day and purchases if you attended Pro Makeup & Beauty Show in Brisbane in the comments below, also any suggestions for future Ingot eyeshadow shades?
Have a great weekend!
LLx
Thank you so much :)
