This post is coming a little late however this collection has been one of my favorites from the amazing brand Essence and I wanted to share with you all the items I picked up from the New In Town collection and my thoughts after trying them. 

I picked up all four nail polishes available as part of the collection released in Australia, the silky touch blush and two of the metal glam eye shadows. I spotted some sparkly liquid eyeliners as well but there were none in good enough condition to by at the Essence stand in my local Target. :( maybe next time.

I love buying blush from Essence collections because its simple, well pigmented and you only need a small amount so they usually last a long time. This little cherry coloured pan is a welcome edition to my growing blush collection.

I haven't had much luck with eye shadows from this brand, as much as I love the colours in each and every collection so far. the metal glam eye shadows look great in the pan all glittery and glistening as you buy them but I have found the glitter is just the top layer of the product, I think I could only use it a few times and the glitter will be all but gone which is disappointing.

One of the best parts of a new Essence collection in my opinion is that they same to stay very on trend with their nail polish and colour editions, this is great because it makes the seasons newest and best nail colours more affordable. Essence has jumped on board the 'textured nail' trend in this collection, adding a 'sparkle sand' colour. very similar to OPI's Liquid Sand. I was also lucky enough to pick up the gold duochrome which I am absolutely in love with currently.

My top picks from this particular collection is definitely the nail polish and my favorite colour that I have been wearing often since purchasing is English Rose, such a wearable and simply beautiful colour I will reach for it again and again.
