You may have seen the hashtag I use on Instagram #LustyLipstickFiles - Now welcome to the first edition on the blog! I hope to post a series of these brief reviews on some new and fave lipsticks / lip products I love!
For today's edition, a brief review of sorts about an all time favorite MAC lipstick :
| I don't own many MAC lipsticks as the price tag can be a little bit hefty and my budget doesn't always allow for these otherworldly, coveted, high end products; so when I do splurge I try to make sure it's only on a product I have swooned over for a long time, that I can give lots of love to and that will become a classic in my collection. |
MAC Ruby Woo is the epitemy of this for me.

Red is definetly not my favorite colour however if I'm ever struggling to pick a lip or nail colour my go to shade is red!
Every one needs that perfect red lipstick in their collection and for me that is the high end quality, timeless, perfect 'Retro Matte' finish, blue based red from MACCosmetics!
If your looking for a go to red lipstick with an anything but subtle and long lasting colour..... I suggest MAC Ruby Woo!
This particular lipstick can be quite drying on the lips, however I find applying a lip conditioner or balm and allowing it some time to soak in before applying eliminates this problem!
This lipstick requires some care when applying and if your a fan, a good smack of lip liner in a complimentary shade!
I find the colour stays bold throughout a day of gracing my lips but I do need to have it on hand for touch ups after eating / drinking!
I feel super feminine, confident and sexy when ever I wear this lipstick.

The luxe creamy consistency, heavenly scent and matte finish has me swooning every time I apply it!
I have never been one to be shy or be worried about presenting as "over done" or "over dressed" and enjoy wearing this lipstick to compliment or clash with any outfit or makeup I am wearing on the day or night!
