Makeup / Product Picks ... 'Work Makeup Of The Day' The Change Up!

Following on from a recent post all about my  'WorkAppropriateMakeup' picks for my new job I decided to post about how I have been changing up my look for each day as I get more relaxed and confident in my new role and new work place.

A lot of my go to products picks for work outlined in my original post haven't changed but I have been making efforts to mix up my base, lip colour and eyeshadow picks each day!

In the first few weeks at my new job I stuck to mainly nudes and neautral shades for my makeup each day so now that I am feeling a little more confident I feel good about incorporating some more colour!

pic from my original post of all the products I chose to incorporate for my makeup for the first week or so at my new job!

Some Things Never Change LOL :
I am still reaching for a lot of my original product picks regularly when doing my makeup for work e.g 'Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation', 'Australis Tint My Brow', 'MAC Prep & Prime Concealer' & 'Benefit Roller Lash Mascara' being among those I rely on for work appropriate makeup!

Ace The Base :

Chi Chi Cosmetics Super BB Cream in shade medium - : I reach for a BB cream when I am in a hurry or have a super early start and need a super quick not too much fuss base for my makeup of the day! I find this product provides me with minimum coverage and is easy set in place with one of my chosen powders or a translucent powder! quick and easy for those 8am starts I am still not used too!

Ace The Base Change-up
Face Of Australia, Face Base Primer - : after seeing this product pop up quite a bit on Instagram and other blog posts and learning that is has similar ingredients to the coveted 'Napoleon Autopilot Primer' I decided to give this product a go! I am impressed by the formula and how it helps to smooth my skin in preparation for application of makeup for the day and keeps my base in place throughout a work day!

Maybelline Matte Maker Pressed Powder in shade , MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in shade medium - : I am still often reaching for my 'Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation' for oily / combination skin in shade medium beige and setting with either Matte Maker or MAC Mineralize skin finish for a more full coverage / matte finish however, If I am in a rush it is a great comfort to know that I am able to wear either of these powder products on their own for a nice even coverage for a work day!

E.L.F Cosemtics Tools Shine Eraser Blotting Papers - : This little package has become a staple in my work makeup touch up kit as of late because my skin has been even more oily than normal! for only $3 they are the most affordable blotting papers I have come across!

A Little Bit Of Blush :

My product picks in this department have not changed for a long time now, It's good to have this small yet important part of my morning makeup routine sorted,  I always reach for my 'Essence Sun Club Matte Bronzer' & 'Essence Silky Touch Blush in Adorable' as they are both such a soft natural looking colour and I find them both easy to apply without overdoing it!

'MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Soft & Gentle' remains a firm fave when it comes to highlight for me. I am so so glad every day that I invested in this beauty product and every time I wear it I can not help but feel so beautiful!

Having Some Fun With My Lip Options :

Boe Beauty Matte Lip Cream in Nude & Blush Pink - : These cute little semi matte finish lip products from a much beloved affordable brand Boe Beauty live in y handbag makeup kit for those days when I am so busy I forget to choose a lip colour before rushing out the door. I always know I have these little cuties on hand for no fuss application in the rear view mirror of my car before taking off! lol

Australis Velour Lips in shades : Lun-Dun & Pa-Ree - : My love for this whole collection of lip products is well documented on this blog and all my social media the velour lips range is a great choice for me for long lasting high colour lips for the day!

Rimmel Provocalips shades : *I'll Call You, *Dare To Pink, *Make Your Move, *Skinny Dipping & *Little Minx - : My love for the Provocalips collection (You can read more about this stunning collection here.) has been reignited since starting my new job I need to keep a smile on my face when working on the sales floor and meeting and greeting new people each day so if I know I have a full 8 or 9 hour day ahead of me the fabulous bright colours that last all day from Rimmel are what I reach for!

MAC Cosmetics Ruby Woo & Cremecup - : As I have become more relaxed in my new role and the people I work with  I feel more comfortable busting out a bright red lip for a work day and the only choice for me of course is MAC ruby woo!

Eyeshadow :

My eyeshadow options remain mostly the same since my last post I still generally reach for my fabulous ingot palette and its familiar muted matte brown shades and my much beloved 'Models Prefer' Nudes Palette. I have however incorporated yet another palette into the mix of late my 'Models Prefer Day To Night Palette' stay tuned for a little more info on both palettes soon on the blog!

Thanks so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed this post, I would love to hear your thoughts on my product picks and any products that you turn to for reliability when getting ready and doing your own makeup for work in the comments below!
