This past weekend I attended the second annual Pro Makeup And Beauty Show held at the Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane.
I had been looking forward to this event since the moment last years show was over! (you can read all about last years post here.) A fantastic day out and a great opportunity to pick up some makeup hints, tips and not to mention bargains!
I had my best friend, little sister and her bestie in tow, ready to share in the wonderful experience and opportunity that is a professional trade show! I also had a plan, a list and a little bit more experience with these events since last year, but alas I still got caught up in the excitement and overspent!
One of the major drawcards for Pro Makeup & Beauty has got to be Inglot cosmetics!
As soon as I walked through the doors I was on the lookout for their vast, impressive and alluring stall. Of course I was not disappointed as Inglot presented a stunning range of products with fantastic discounts, topped off with delightful customer service.
The Inglot freedom system provides makeup lovers with the ultimate customisable palette and I was excited by the chance to add some bright new eyeshadow shades to my collection!
Happily, the wait time to complete my purchase was practically non existent - one of the awesome perks about having visited the event on its second day.
I've been sadly living without my beloved acrylic nails for the past few months, however my long standing passion for all things nail art has not been dimmed. As such my favourite nail polish brand O.P.I featured heavily on my wish list.
This is truly one of the few places where you'll get to see practically the entire O.P.I colour range at once. Although this years stand was smaller in presentation the impressive variety of polishes was still on offer, each at only $10.00, with some of the mini sets as low as $5.00!
Boasting a unique collection of products that we usually only find online, Rouche Boutique had me at 'Sigma Beauty'! A comprehensive range of divine Sigma Beauty brushes and kits were available at their stall and had me and my group 'oooohing' and 'aahhhhing' for quite some time!
I was also excited to see that Rouche Boutique was retailing Shanghai Suzie lipsticks - a brand that I recently got to sample at Obsession 2015 and fell instantly in lust with!
Admittedly I had not heard a lot about Eye Of Horus cosmetics prior to Pro Makeup And Beauty, however after spotting their gloriously detailed stand I was quickly drawn in.
This brand focuses specifically on make-up for the eyes, creating long lasting products that produce dramatic and exotic looks. We were shown the full range of gorgeous products including their stand-out eye pencils which truly seemed to live up to their 'smudge-proof' reputation.
Although I did not make a purchase here this year, with such lovely products and awesome prices, I have no doubt Eye Of Horus will be on my wish list for 2016!
We had such a great day at this years Pro Makeup And Beauty Show and thoroughly enjoyed visiting all the different stands, watching some live demonstrations and of course shopping up a storm!
Being the events' second year I found that even on day two it was far busier than last year. I was so glad to see that more makeup professionals and fans had heard about this exciting event since its debut. Sadly there were some exhibitors I expected to see who did not return to this successful event, however there were some new awesome and surprising additions to the exhibitors list to compensate.

All in all this is a fabulous event for makeup artists and amateurs alike. The staff that organise and officiate are professional, helpful and welcoming and if you're thinking about adding this weekend to your calendar next year I suggest go for it!
Pro Makeup & Beauty Show is a wonderful opportunity to see some informative live demonstrations (both paid and complimentary), network with friends, bloggers and makeup professionals and to see, swatch and buy some fabulous products.
Thank you so much for reading all about the 2015 Brisbane Pro Makeup And Beauty Show! It was such a fantastic experience and I thoroughly encourage anyone from the greater Brisbane or Gold Coast areas to consider attending next year!
I'd love to connect with anyone who might be thinking of going to next years show! I'm already in planning mode for 2016 and would enjoy the chance to talk to others and perhaps plan a future meet up around the event. Please let me know in the comments section or contact me via social media! :)
Did you also attend the Pro Makeup And Beauty Show in 2015? If so, what were your favourite exhibitors or presentations?
Thanks Beauties!
