I had a bit of a break from acrylic / gel nails for a few months recently partly due to financial reasons and partly because I haven't been able to find a nail tech or salon in our new hometown that I really like! I have tried a few different places around and now can finally say I have found my new salon & will again be regularly getting my nails done again!
I decided to go for a more subtle look for my nails this week, I am working in retail, customer service and sales at the moment so I don't want to go too bold and bright but I still wanted my nails to look pretty!
I chose to select my colours from the 'Euro Centrale' collection from 'OPI' I picked up the adorable collection of mini's at the most recent 'Pro Makeup And Beauty Show' in Brisbane for only $5!
I started with the polish called "You're such a Buda-Pest" and applied only one super thin coat of the pale almost murky lilac shade which is probably my least favourite from this collection I chose to use it anyway as my base colour because my work uniform has some lovely lilac and blue shades within the pattern.
The finished result without top coat I would describe as a subtle frosted glow, it's fairly muted look for me as I tend to go for brighter colours but I am very happy with the look!
