Alex Paige 10 Days Of Makeup Challenge!

Hi folks! I decided to take part in the AlexPaiige 10 Days of Makeup Challenge! I have been posting pics of my Instagram page each day for 10 days from the list below! I decided to type up this up as an accompanying post to the pictures on my Instagram Page to provide a little more detail! 

I had a lot of fun doing this 10 day challenge and I really hope to do more of them for my blog! 

Day 1 : Favorite High End Products! 

I don't own all that many high end makeup and beauty products, but when I do buy them its because I adore them and have wanted them for a really long time! 

• My Inglot Palette - I made this little cutie at Pro Makeup & Beauty Show in Brisbane last year is my go to most days and nights when doing my makeup. I love the creamy luxe consistency of Inglot eyeshadows and can't wait to add more to my collection.

• Inglot AMC Lipgloss - My little sister picked this little gloss up for me on her visit to the States in 2014. Im not usually a gloss fan but I now love having this gloss on hand to quickly apply a little colour and shine when I am in a rush! 

• MAC Studio Fix Powder - It took me a while to come around to the idea of wearing only powder as my foundation for my daily makeup, but I must admit the high quality and amazing coverage this powder provides was a game changer! 

• MAC Studio Fix Fluid - I absolutely love the coverage this foundation provides and I love that I can use it with or without setting with my translucent powder and it lasts throughout the day.

• MAC Mineralize Skin Finish / Soft & Gentle - I picked up my first pan of this miraculous stuff early 2014 and have never looked back. It is firmly my fave item of makeup I own! 

Day 2 : Makeup Of The Day

• Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer - I use this most often to conceal dark circles under my eyes and also to brighten that area around my eyes so they stand out a bit more!

• MAC Studio Fix Powder - I reach for this product so often, I am proud to say that because I never really thought I would feel so comfortable and confident using just a powder for daily use. This powder provides the perfect amount of coverage and I'll often pop it in my handbag to take with me for touch ups if needed.

• Boe Beauty Bronzer in Glow - I am a big fan of Boe Beauty, I am impressed by most products and especially for the bargain price of only $2 each! this bronzer is a quick and easy to use go to for me!

• Loreal Le Blush - I adore this simple pink colour for any occasion! 

• MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle - I simply can not resist wearing this daily, adds a lovely shine to any look. 

• Eyeshadow - I have become pretty obsessed with my Chi Chi Cosmetics BASES palette since I picked it up late last year. I use the light pinks and pale banana yellow shades over my eyelid and up to my brow bone to create a smooth, light and matte base before applying brighter colours, as I have done today as I find the shades in the models prefer palette I chose to use today need a solid base to show up well! Today I used shades *Princess & *DiscoBall 
• Essence Cosmetics Lash Princess Mascara - I chose this mascara today as it provides full on volume and curl without taking too long! 

• Rimmel Provocalips *Ill Call You - A fave from the newest collection of bright coloured, high shine, stay all day lip colours from beloved brand Rimmel London ( Read full post here.)

Day 3. 5 Can't Live Without Products!

Benefit They're Real Beyond Mascara - I chose Mascara as my first 'cant live without product' as I firmly believe it really 'finishes' and brings together any makeup look. MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle I chose to include this for similar reasons as above! And of course because it makes me feel so beautiful any time I wear it! Next up is my favourite blush at the moment Essence Silky Touch Blush in Adoreable - the perfect pop of baby pink for any occasion! I had to include my beloved Real Techniques Setting brush, I call it my magic wand when using it to use setting powder underneath my eyes and when applying my highlight to my cheekbones! ha ha Last and by no means least is my Simple Skincare Oil Balancing moisturiser, or Moisturiser in general as a 'cant live without products.' 

Day 4 : Top 3 Lipsticks!

• Lime Crime Babette - Gifted to me by my best friend for Christmas my first ever Lime Crime Lipstick! I love the colour that she chose for me as it is a little bit different to the colours I would normally pick for myself. It's a fab pastel orange / coral with a beautiful creamy finish! I was suprised how confident I felt the first time I wore it and have found it easy to wear for many different occasions! 

• MAC Cosmetics Creme Cup - My all time fave MAC Lipstick - I was first introduced to MAC Cosmetics like many through watching the fabulous #JaclynHill and her love for this particular shade of lipstick prompted me to ask for it to be applied when I got my makeup done professionally for the first time ever in store at MAC!  I purchased it that day (among many other things!) and have been favouring it ever since! 

• Loreal Colour Riche Glamor Fuchsia  - this gorgeous shade entered my collection in winter last year when I was rocking a lot of accessories in similar fuchsia / plum / purple colours! I love the pop of colour it provides even when paired with a simple or neautral eye makeup look and I love the matte finish! 

Day 5 : Holy Grail Foundation(s)!

• Maybelline Super Stay Makeup - This is one of the very first liquid foundations I tried when I was getting into makeup, it is still a great fall back fave and I constantly repurchase it! Its easy to apply and wears really well all day and I like that I am able to use it with or without setting spray or powder. 

• MAC Studio Fix Fluid - A new favourite to my collection, I purchased my first bottle of this early last year and since it has been my favorite full coverage liquid foundation. I do tend to go for this on occasions when I am going all out with my makeup, I don't lime to use it just on its own, It has to be set with a setting spray or powder.

• Revlon Colourstay Foundation - This is fantastic every day, any day and all day go to foundation in my collection. I reach for it for a full on make up look, natural makep look and when I am in a hurry! can be used with or without setting spray or powder! 

Day 6 : Makeup Collection!

I am in the process of some major renovations and organising of my makeup collection at present so here is a small peak at some of my Drugstore / Essence Blushes & Bronzers. Some of the get a lot of love so I have recently moved them to a more accessible shelf in my beauty room / office.

Day 7 : Selfie! 

I love a good selfie! This was taken super quick on the day just after jumping in the car before a big day ahead! Lol Have been a little unwell lately, nothing serious, just not feeling my best! So I'm mustering up a smile for the day!

Day 9 : Makeup Inspo / Your Inspiration! 

I chose to post this days pic on instagram in 2 parts or 2 posts 1 being My Inspiration and the other my makeup inspiration : 

From day 1 I have admired and been inspired by the incredible #GwenStefani she is the reason I had bright pink hair when I was 15, wore those 90's tattoo colars, wore bindis, got henna tattoos and we were all rockin the mini hair twistie buns right!? She is the reason I love to rock a bright red lip and currently the reason i decided to finally take the plunge and go blonde! She is just all around AMAZING! 

Ever since I first saw Gwen Stefani as the lead singer for an all time fave band of mine No Doubt, I have been OBSESSED! 

The first film clip I saw was 'Ex Girlfriend' Gwen was belting out the hit song, rocking the bright pink uber cool pink hair in long braids, her makeup was on point and she had that hardcore, rock DILIGAF attitude that my teenage mind adored lol 

Since then I have been a big fan of all the albums that she has done with her band and as a solo artist, I loved her clothing & fragrance lines and even more recently the collaborations with a much beloved brand OPI! 

She was an inspiration to me back then of girl power, and entrepreneurial skill!  

But also in more recent times fab fashion,  gorgeous makeup, uber cool baby names and general holding it down and staying 'rock steady' in an age of over celeb exposure and drama! 

Day 10 : 10 Facts About Yourself! 

Day 10 : 10 Facts About Me! Wow! 10 days is over already? 

⭐️1. My fave colours are pink, blue & purple! 

⭐️2. I am pretty obsessed with Instagram! 

⭐️3. I love makeup! 

⭐️4. I am constantly torn between continuing with the process of going blonde and giving in and dyeing my hair black again! 

⭐️5. I love window shopping!

⭐️6. I can't stop shopping! 

⭐️7. I love having a car! 

⭐️8. I really really want a puppy! 

⭐️9. I love mangoes and tomatoes 

⭐️10. I love the beach!
