I am in Brisbane with a friend at the moment to do some shopping, catch up with some friends + family and attend the Pro Makeup and Beauty Show, Brisbane's newest beauty industry trade show! I am looking forward to meeting other beauty enthusiasts and seeing what new and interesting brands/products will be showcased at the event!
While I am in Brisbane I also plan to visit the newly opened MAC Pro Store on James Street in Fortitude Valley.
Today we spent some time in the city then headed to Westfield Chermside for some serious shopping. Once we finally arrived at the hotel to check in I just had to snap some pics of the gorgeous hotel room we scored during the recent online sale for Meriton Serviced Apartments. Although we are only here for one night, we have been thoroughly enjoying our stay in this fun and fancy room!
Without having even completed our stay here my friend and I have decided we will happily return in the future!

Top: (Autograph - purchased on sale) - I have been drawn to anything and everything with stripes lately and this top caught my eye during the recent %40 off sale at Autograph. The fabric is light but good quality, it has a nice casual feel, yet the black & white tones still add an element of sophistication for a day out in the city with friends.
Pants: (Target $12 purchased on sale) - I know its taboo but I love wearing leggings, however this is only when the top I'm wearing is long enough. Leggings keep any look casual and the black leaves some room for a pop of colour using accessories!
Accessories / Jewellery : Lovisa - Loving Lovisa Sales at the moment! I wore my everyday jewellery in silver / sterling silver which includes my long loved Pandora Bracelet & Promise ring I mixed it up a little with a bejewelled heart pendant rope necklace and some sparkly earrings!
Bag: (Michael Kors) - I purchased this new addition to my beloved handbag collection only recently when I bought my MacBook Air. Apple has special edition Michael Kors bags that easily double as a stylish designer laptop travel/carry bag. Today was my first time using it with the matching protective sleeve and I must say it felt so right! lol
