Something Special ... Part 1 Chanel Blush /

Hi all! Something a little random on the blog today! I was originally just going to share my most recent, bigger makeup purchase on social media as I always love to do, but I decided this is something special, something that deserves its own brief blog post... Let me know what you think!

The man & I have been living in regional QLD here in Australia for over a year now and I have been working in a retail / sales role for about 6 months. I have worked in sales before and usually do quite well however in this new job, the products I am selling change all the time so it's been a fun, new experience / challenge! 

I'm proud to say that last month I hit one of my big targets at work and reached a level to receive incentive, or a bonus in my pay, which is AWESOME! So with this little windfall I obviously put most of the money toward adult things like bills and stuff, but I really wanted to buy something special, and as makeup and all things beauty is my addiction I decided to choose something from my Wishlist in that realm. 

I chose to buy from a brand I have never had the pleasure of owning any products from before and that is CHANEL *cue music* *swoon* 

My First Chanel Purchase Ever... 

Since I heard a few weeks ago that I would be getting my bonus I had been trying to decide what to buy before settling on the idea of a Chanel blush or 'Joues Contraste' then to decide which colour I wanted. 

I have had "Rose Petale" & "Innocent" blush shades on my lust list and while at the counter at my local Myer I was having trouble deciding.

Then the lovely sales assistant who was helping showed my the "Fall 2015" collection and my decision was made.

I chose this gorgeous Limited Edition shade called "Alezane" and its a stunning muted copper, almost rose gold shade... #Adore the sales assistant was kind enough to apply some to my cheeks for me and I spent the rest of my shopping day walking around grinning ear to ear and feeling literally like a million dollars!

I'm in love with every little bit of my first ever purchase from Chanel from the crisp white tissue paper, the black and gold packaging, the elegant velvet pouch, sleek packaging, Chanel logo, and the luxe product contained within! 

I feel like every time I choose to wear this beautiful blush I will be reminded of my hard work, success and happiness in achieving a goal I set for myself!
