NP SET : Eye Primer (10ml )

I picked this up quite a while ago, and to be honest it’s the first eye primer I ever tried. 

Previously I just used a dot of concealer blended to try and help make my eyeshadow last longer, and a NYX crayon in the shade milk to help bring out the colour. 

I found that this primer from NP set made a difference in helping my eyeshadow stay put and last longer. Its light beige colour helps to provide a good clean base for colour to stand out better!

I have tried several different eye primers now and haven’t found the one for me as yet, having quite oily skin, including my eyelids it hasn’t been easy!

Sukin : Revitalizing Facial Scrub (LE 250ml)

I was lucky enough to receive a gift pack with Sukin Limited Edition sizes of their Facial Cleanser, Revitalizing Facial Scrub & Facial Moisturizer earlier this year. The scrub has a delightful jojoba scent and is gentle enough to use daily to exfoliate before cleansing and of course as with all Sukin products its an affordable, guilt free skin care treat for any beauty lover.

It lasted quite a long time as you don’t need much to get a lot of coverage when washing your face, I kept it in the shower and even the man found himself loving it!

Fuss Free Naturals : Natural Facial Cleansing Wipes (25 Wipes)

I received these in a recent Lust Have It! Beauty subscription box (check out what was included here. ) I saved them to take with me to Sydney on my most recent trip, they do a great and thorough job removing makeup and cleansing without too much effort and no irritation even on my sensitive skin. Will definetly be checking out the other products from this brand.

MAC : Brush Cleanser (235ml)

I picked this up at IMATS Sydney 2013 it has taken me this long to use it up

I chose to keep it on hand in my beauty room to just spot clean my brushes while applying my makeup, I have managed to get in the habit of cleaning each brush as I use it with this simple solution and it makes my once a week brush cleaning session a little easier and keeps all my pretty brushes more hygienic!

NYX : Le Frou Frou Mascara

I found this mascara so easy to work with for a simple day time lash, great for separating and lengthening lashes. It didn’t really provide enough volume for me but I did enjoy using it for a less full on lash, to bind my falsies to my natural lashes and also to define my lower lashes.

LUSH : Charity Pot

An all time fave for me from LUSH I purchase this product regularly I find its gentle enough to use all over, even with sensitive skin and the kiddies who are both quite sensitive an safely use it without any dramas.

For all these reasons and more its my go to giftable lush purchase for ANYONE lol.

My Beauty Sample Collection

My backlog of beauty samples has become ridiculous lately, considering I am the kind of person and the kind of beauty blogger who loves trying new products! I decided that this month I would try and use up and enjoy as many samples as I could and document them in my October empties post!

The samples I managed to use up in the month of October

I don’t like to use a sachet sample twice once its open I use the whole lot in one go.

Vaseline : Healthy radiance Ultimate 10 anti ageing lotion -25ml Sample (4 uses )

With the change of season to warmer weather and enjoying more time in the sun I thought this sample from such a reputable skin care company would be ideal, so I kept it close by and got a few uses on my arms and chest area after a day out, as with many Vaseline products I have tried it absorbs quite quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy feel on the skin!

Indio : Clear Moisturiser – Hydration Balancer – 10ml Sample Tube (2 Uses)

A lovely soothing, oil free, water based gel moisturiser, unscented which I always find a little dissapointing but makes this product feel very fresh and clean, the gel constancy absorbed quickly into my skin and felt great, would be ideal for after sun care or for sensitive skin. Will definitely look into purchasing.

Aveda : Tourmaline Charged Hydrating Crème – 7ml Sample Tube ( 3 uses )

Very rich crème moisturizer needed very little product to get results. I haven’t tried anything else from this brand but I love the natural vibe and scent.

Clinique : Clarifying Lotion (Toner) Skin Type 4 Oily / Very Oily 15ml Sample Bottle.

I use Clinique 3 step daily as part of my skin care routine and have found it very effective for my skin because I don’t have many issues with breakouts or anything of the like however, lately I have had more problems with oil control so I was advised to try the next step up in toner to try and prevent this

Bioderma : Micelle Solution – Crealine H2o – 20 ml sample bottle (4 uses)

A great way to remove makeup without a greasy residue left behind and as makeup wipes have been irritating my sensitive skin lately this sample was a godsend!

I am so sad that this super cute little sample is now empty! I think I might just keep it! Lol I loved having the chance to finally try this product but the pricepoint is just too much for be to consider purchasing a full size at this stage! I will be trying a similar product from Garnier that I have heard is very similar so hopefully I will get some good results!

Formula 10.0.6 – No Time To Shine – Face Mask – Sachet Sample ( I use)

Not specifically a sample, I am a big fan of his brand their face masks & pore strips are my go to for a long time. the green "No Time To Shine" mask is now by far a favourite I find it provides a deep clean, reduce oil, all while still being gentle enough to not break me out the next day. 

NUXE Paris : First Expression Lines Cream / Eye Contour Cream x2 2ml Sachet Samples (1 use each)

I had neve reheard of this brand before, and was offered the chance to try these by the bestie. I love the First Impressions Line Cream, it helped the skin around my eyes to feel lovely and soft I would say I need more than one use to give any opinion about results and I am already looking into more info about the brand and other products. 

The POREfessional – Agent Zero Shine – x2 Sachet Samples (I use each)

This product has really been helping me control some oil and shine

I decided to use one sample under my makeup and one over the top of my makeup

The POREfessional – Pro Pore Balm 3.0ml Sample Tube (many many uses)

I have quite a problem with my pores being visible when applying my makeup (especially around my nose and on my chin ) and I was hoping this product would be helpful, I am yet to notice any dramatic difference but that may just be the oily nature of my skin and not the product.

Loreal : Base Magique – Transforming Smoothing Primer 5ml Sample Tube (3 uses)

I am in love with this primer, it is a much raved about cult product from one of my fave brands and I am so impressed by how little I needed to use to create a base for my makeup. It definitely provides a smooth even surface to work with and helped any foundation I tried it with to last and say in place longer.
