Mani Monday - 3/2/14- Heart Felt / Valentines Day Inspired Part 1 <3

Hello Beauties! 

Welcome to my ManiMonday post for this week! 

I have given into the urge to do a Valentines Day inspired post (did you know it is coming up? Lol) 

I have decided on a colour theme, red and pink (bang on trend) and I will post a valentines day inspired look this Monday using pink and next Monday using red leading up to the big day! 

( I am contemplating also going a "Be your own Valentine"  post also - for anyone who reads that may not be looking forward to the day ... Any thoughts?) 

So wether your loved up, going on a first date, having a date night with the girls, or ignoring the whole day for your own reasons I hope these nail ideas will give you some good positive vibes and give you some inspiration! 

Products used for this look :

1.Sally Hansen - cleared for take off - base coat 

2. Loreal Color Riche - Milk Shake in LA 

3. OPI - Mariah Carey - Pink yet lavender (for glitter accent) 

4. OPI top coat 

5. Essence - drip dry drops 

I have been feeling a little uninspired about Valentines Day this year as the last few months have been pretty hard for me dealing with some personal issues, I have been feeling a whole lot better lately and going through all of my beautiful nail polishes in my collection today only helped! 

Especially when I layed eyes on this beautiful pink hiding in my Loreal Color Riche collection - Milk Shake in LA is a lovely, girly, pastel and totally wearable pink! 

When I had finished with 2 coats of Loreal I was suprised to see how beautifully my Mariah Carey by OPI - Pink Yet Lavender fit and made this stunning look! Why had I never thought of this before?! 

This look is versatile if you are a fan of pink and like a bit of a girlie look, for me this is ideal for how I will be spending my Valentines Day - a casual lunch date with my best friend and maybe a girlie shopping day? :) 

I also think it translates well to be inspiration for a girlie, flirty design for date night with the special person in your life! :)
