#LustyPlus Sydney Day 1 / Travel / My Casual & Stylish Travel Look

#LustyPlus posts are all about the details of my Travels, Events, Lifestyle and Fashion! This idea is still very much a work in progress but so far I have had fun planning, preparing and discussing with fellow bloggers all the details of these posts and look forward to more in the future!

Today I thought I would share with you my outfit of the day for my flight to Sydney and what I got up to on my first day in my favourite city! This trip is a little different for me as for the first time I am (literally) flying solo! I am anxious because even though I will be meeting up with friends on my trip, this is the first trip I have ever planned to undertake on my own. Regardless, I am so excited!

OOTD:

The most important thing for me when dressing for any kind of travel is comfort! But I still want to feel somewhat glam when I touch down and make a good impression upon arrival to my destination. With this in mind, I chose the following Outfit Of The Day:

Jeans: Target, $10 (Holla!). I wouldn’t normally choose jeans for travelling but these babies are stretch denim, and are a lovely light blue, I have been favouring lighter hues ever since lightening my hair a few weeks ago and these bargain jeans are perfect for a semi glam travel day.   

Singlet: Kmart, $6. These singlets are staples in my wardrobe with thick straps for more support and a lower cut neckline which is flattering for bigger breasts.

Sheer 3 Quarter Sleeved Mesh Top: Autograph. I picked this up quite a while ago and I have been waiting for an opportunity to wear it. No matter what I’m wearing or where I’m going (when its appropriate) I like to dress / feel sexy and glamorous and I think that sheer mesh is a simple way to show some skin and get that sexy feeling without going overboard!

Necklace and Earrings: Lovisa - I love this necklace but it is so heavy! I just had to take it off after my flight! 

I decided to book a shuttle bus service with a colleague heading to Sydney on the same day, to be delivered straight to the door of our hotel because I had never stayed there before and I was a little anxious. It costs about the same as the train and we were surprised to find we were the only people on board for the trip!

I felt really comfortable in this outfit today and I found it wasn't too fussy when juggling luggage, rushing around the airport and getting around all the hustle and bustle of the city!

I had some time to set up my makeup and hang up some outfits for the next few days before I had planned to head out and about on my own for the afternoon. 

Hello Beautiful!

I was lucky enough today to have some time to visit one of my all time favourite place in Sydney the QVB building! I took my time wandering around and visiting all my favourite stores at a leisurely pace. I stopped in at LUSH and used all my self control to just walk out with 1 bath bomb to enjoy while Im in Sydney!  I then headed back to my hotel to relax for a while and get ready to head out for dinner with some friends!
